Terms of Service
Effective June 14, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Eraze, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
2. What Eraze does
Eraze scans data-broker and people-search websites for your personal information and submits opt-out / deletion requests on your behalf. Where a broker requires a manual step, Eraze gives you instructions to complete it. Eraze also detects when brokers miss legally required removal deadlines and provides informational tools to help you act on potential violations.
3. Not legal advice
Eraze is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Violation detection, complaint drafts, estimated compensation figures, and attorney referrals are informational only and are not a guarantee of any legal outcome or payment. You are responsible for any complaint you choose to file.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and to submit only your own personal information (or information you are authorized to manage). You will not use Eraze to access, remove, or interfere with data that is not yours. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
5. No guarantee of results
Data brokers control their own systems and timelines. We cannot guarantee that any specific record will be removed, that it will stay removed, or that a removal will occur within any particular timeframe. Data may reappear; paid plans include periodic re-scans to address this.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider (Stripe) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period, and cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund except where required by law. Prices may change with notice.
7. Compensation share (free tier)
For free-tier users who recover compensation through Eraze's guidance, a platform fee applies as described at sign-up and in-product. Paid-tier users are not charged a platform fee on recoveries. Any such arrangement is described in the product at the time you initiate a claim.
8. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate any law or third-party rights.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eraze's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using Eraze and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
